史前巨石阵在西北欧是常见的景观。BBS报道：英国科学家最新解释：不少巨石阵具 有令人惊异的声学特性。科学家们在一些巨石阵中放入先进的录音器材进行实验，发现组成巨石阵的巨大扁平石块，能非常精确地反射巨石阵内部的回声并将其集中于巨石阵的中 心，形成“音箱”效应。这让人想到北京天坛的寰丘。科学家们推测：或许这种特性可以很好地应用于古代祭祀典礼中。
